According to the book “Tech-Noir Film” by Emily Auger, the term “future noir” presents "technology as a destructive and dystopian force that threatens every aspect of our reality”. Of course we know this term from sci-fi movies and think that it can happen only in parallel reality or in the future but it happens right now all over the world – in every phone, laptop, computer, media, industry... With big resource to create great things and make people feel better comes other side – power to destruct, manipulate, cheat, hide, betray, kill …

And future noir is reality we live in right now.
